Principal's Bio

PCHS Principal

Dr. Robyn Killebrew

Dr. Robyn Killebrew, currently in her third year as Principal of Pass Christian High School, credits much of her success as an administrator to her foundational beginnings in education and the influence of her mother, who is also an educator.  Dr. Killebrew is often referred to as a “teacher’s principal” because every decision she makes as an administrator has the background and influence of her experiences as a teacher and coach.

Prior to becoming Principal, Dr. Killebrew taught Algebra I, coached softball and volleyball for five years, and served as Assistant Principal for two years, all at Pass High. In 2011, Killebrew was honored as an Alan R. Barton recipient for her Commitment to Excellence in teaching.  In 2017, she was named Administrator of the Year for the Pass Christian School District.   Under Dr. Killebrew’s leadership, Pass Christian High School has earned an “A”, the highest possible ranking within Mississippi’s accountability system, during both 2014/2015 and 2015/2016.  Pass High maintains its stellar reputation as one of the top performing high schools in the state of Mississippi.

Regarding her educational background, Dr. Killebrew is a graduate of William Carey University where she earned a Bachelor's degree in Math Secondary Education and played fast pitch softball for the Lady Crusaders.  After finishing her collegiate career, she was the student assistant coach for one year.

Following her time at WCU, Killebrew became the graduate Assistant Softball Coach at the University of Southern Mississippi.  In 2004, she helped lead the Golden Eagles to a 2004 Conference USA Championship.  After two years, she graduated with a Master's Degree in Sports Administration. In order to gain additional experience teaching and coaching at the college level, Dr. Killebrew then served as Assistant Coach and Adjunct Professor at McNeese State University.

In August of 2017, Killebrew graduated with a Doctoral Degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Southern Mississippi.
