PCHS Marine Science Students participated in the Spring 2022 Stewardship Summit

The PCHS Marine Science students were invited to participate in the Spring 2022 Stewardship Summit through the University of Southern Mississippi's Marine Education Center, presenting their projects on coastal community resilience.
The winners are:
1st place: Brice Newton, Xavier Henderson, Nathan Yates, and Christopher Leblanc on Debris Removal
2nd place: Logan Seal, Molly LeBlanc, Colby Bogolin, and Deaundre Wash on Staffing and Restocking Businesses
3rd place: Luke Marble on Early Flood Warning Systems
The project was also done with funding from NOAA's B-Wet program and based in-part on the Mississippi-Alabama Sea Grant Consortium's (MASGC) Community Resilience Index (CRI)
