About The School
Our present school was built in 1999 to replace a 1930's vintage school building which was then renovated to house the Pass Christian Middle School. A new addition to PCHS was opened in the fall of 2002, providing an additional sixteen classrooms. Pass Christian High School is a source of pride for our community and is equipped with modern technology, chemistry, and biology labs, an inviting media center with conference room, a career center, a health clinic, a "commons cafe" area, a Crow's Nest (senior area), and our own Pass High Coliseum. Pass High's newest improvements include a band hall to our the "Pride of the Pass" Marching Band, new turf upgrades to our Football Stadium, and renovations to our Baseball and Softball complex. We are committed to ensuring a safe environment for our students and everyone on our campus. Pass High, a Title I school, utilizes the four-by-four block schedule which allows students to earn as many as 8 credits per year. The curriculum offers a full range of courses from compensatory and developmental to Advanced Placement and Dual Credit based on state and national standards. Educators at Pass High are data-driven and constantly seek to measure understanding and mastery regarding student performance to enhance instructional planning, methods, strategies, activities, and assessments.
