We would like to thank the parents and families of the Tenacious Class of 2022 for sharing your children with us. They have been a joy and have carried the traditions and legacy of our district with great honor.
They have met our misision and are now empowered to be college and career ready with 117 enrolled in college, 7 enlisted in the armed services, and 33 entering the workforce. They are critical thinkers and will be contributing citizens who will change the world having already completed thousands of community service hours. They have achieved in academics ($8 million in scholarships, a 21.5 ACT Avg, and many earning 1.5 years of college credit). They have eXcelled in athletics with several signing to play at the next level and 5 top ranking athletes in the state. Finally, they are accomplished in the arts having achieved excellent and superior ratings. This is just some of what a PIRATE EDUCATION, coupled with the support of families and community, offers our children. We would like to thank the PK-12 teachers and staff members who challenged them by teaching through our beliefs.
Tonight they will make history as our largest class (157) to grace our graduation stage.
Pirate Nation, we have much of which to be proud! Well done!
In service to children,
Dr. Carla J. Evers
