Remembering Abby
As we say our final goodbyes to Our Abby, we reflect on who she was as a person, a student, a daughter, a friend, a classmate, and a PIRATE! She embodied the entire vision of what it means to be a Pirate! She confronted the most difficult challenge any of us will face…mortality with grace and dignity, strength and encouragement for others. She asked that we not feel sorry for her because she was blessed beyond measure. She continued to live life to the fullest and enjoyed every life experience she could. She rejected the doctor’s expiration dates stating only God knew that. We could all take a lesson from Abby; enjoy every day - with no regrets!
